Arthur Cecil Pigou
was a British Economist and one of the leading theorists in neoclassical economics. He was renowned for his work in welfare economics as well as monetary theory. After graduating from the famous King’s College at Cambridge stayed there as a scholar till 1943, discovering he effect of sinking prices on the effective demand (Pigou-Effect). He work with other great economists like Alfred Marshall, Henry Sidgwick and John Maynard Keynes
